I am renting my 1-bedroom flat in Paris from September to December. Marx Dormoy (18th arrondissement). Truly charming one bedroom flat in a 1900 brick building, on a courtyard — a real cocoon, work-friendly, very calm. Two-person bed, a cozy and tastefully furnished living room, a fully equipped kitchen (gaz stove, oven and microwave), sweet bathroom, high-speed internet. Upright Piano. Perfect place for one or two people, and can welcome a third person for a couple of days (living room couch is super comfy). Shops, culture, commuting, bars and restaurants are all 5 to 7 minute walking distance. Ideal commute to virtually any place in Paris : metro 12, 5, 7 and 2 + RER B. Lively cultural life : 5-minute walk to the Bouffes du Nord, to the 104 Cultural Center, and to the Canal de l'Ourcq and its péniches. The Philharmonie de Paris is 15-minute bike or metro away. Convenient for groceries: 5-minute walk from the Marché de L’Olive (outstanding fresh food, especially vegetables and local products), 3-minute away from a Monoprix and a Naturalia. Outstanding restaurants and bars: Thai 18, Chez Foucher, La Vieille Pie, Nord Nord… the best in Autumn. I will provide advices if you want to! Very nice swimming pool (Piscine Hébert) < 10 minutes away. The neighbourhood is a lively one, with real people living there and culturally and socially mixed. People living here wouldn't move, and more and more people are coming — so, it is certainly not the 16th arrondissement vibe (and, in my humble opinion, that's what makes it wonderful).
